1989 Chev Gran Prix Suburban 4x4 with T-Top Sunroof
I purchased another Gran Prix Suburban in Nov 2015, a 1989 I found on Craigslist out of Gig Harbor Washington. It made the 830 mile / 1300 km trip back home without issue and drove really nice.
Here's a photo taken while in Seattle, it rained pretty much the entire time we were down there, only on the last day did the sun shine for us as we got ready to make the trip back to Canada.
It passed the full mechanical inspection after a new radiator.
This Suburban has the 5.7L 350 V8 with 700R4 Automatic transmission with manual hubs. Custom paint, rear air deflector, barn doors, t-top sunroofs, tilt column, cruise control,
3rd row custom seat, power locks, brakes, windows but no power mirrors. It has the Lund moonvisor, custom oak interior with class C motorhome seats with arm rests and custom fabric. As
with all the Gran Prix conversions, it has the custom interior lighting package including roof lighting strips. After market wheels as well as color keyed fiberglass running boards. Air conditioning for the front but doesn't
have the rear air conditioning unit in the rear. It has the trailering package, KC 57 series driving and fog lights in the front bush guard, quad shock in the front and added leaf
springs in the rear.
Here are 99 photos of the truck at verious stages of my owning from Nov 2015 up until I sold it in May of 2016:
