Custom Craft Vehicles, owned by the Compliance Group, was a 10 million dollar a year mid size conversion firm located on Milwaukee's south side and had approximately 14 employees in 1996. Started by Allen Swenson and partner Andrew Verbeski in 1991, they sold the company to Excel Indusries in 1996. Excel Industries was at that time a 600 million dollar company which manufactured windows and door systems for cars, trucks, buses and vans.

Here is some literature, brochures, references and other items I found referencing the Custom Conversion Vehicles Company:

1990 GMC Suburban Silverado Custom Craft Edition V2500 4X4

Link to where I found this truck here.

Description: Awesome GMC Suburban SLE V2500 4X4 with 5.7 Litre 350 CI V-8 with 72,898 actual miles. No accidents, CarFax is available on request. Non smoker Truck. Tires are almost new, muffler and tailpipe replaced last week, as well as a new NAPA battery. No leaks..Period. Adult owned it's whole life. No mechanical modifications what so ever. The truck has power front disc brakes, and power windows and exterior mirrors, as well as a power front drivers seat. I have the build code sheet from the glove box, I can send that out on request also. This is a Custom Craft conversion done in Milwaukee WI. This is truly a one of a kind vehicle, and turns heads no matter where it goes. It has not been driven in the winter, there are some snow flakes on it as you can see, but that couldn't be avoided. It has spent the past 9 years in a heated garage, and was only driven on nice dry days. The frame and springs do show some surface rust because of it's age, but the body is virtually rust free as you can see by the photos. The A/C most likely will be needing to be charged, since it did not kick on yesterday, however it was 2 degrees outside, and the front and rear A/C has always worked with no issues. The truck runs and drives as new. Truck has 3 sets of keys and full set of factory owners manuals. I have the 3rd seat for it and it is immaculate just like the rest of the truck. The trans is a 700r4, that was rebuilt about 25000 miles ago. It has the 5.7 350 v8. The engine is a gm goodwrench short block. It has about 15000 miles on it. As for the rest, 4x4 works, all power windows and locks work. It has new tires on it with probably 1000 miles at the most on them. It has aftermarket tail lights, there is some rust on the rockers, and in a few other places, but not bad. There is some denting in the rear barn doors, but not real bad, and is doesnt affect the operation of the doors. The truck s flat black for color. It has a flowmaster 44 muffler on it with side exit exhaust. It even has the third row seat included. The interior is in ok condition for the year. The back of the rear seat is missing the fabric, due to a dog ripping it off. This was like this when i bought it. The truck also has a tow package. It has class 3 hitch, with a brake controller installed. At the time the truck was new it was a conversion truck, so it has wood trim inside, and custom lighting and a few other things.
