CUSTOM TRUCKS OF TEXAS SUBURBAN CONVERSIONS

Custom Trucks of Texas Inc. filed as a Domestic For-Profit Corporation in the State of Texas on October 23, 1986. Looks like they were based out of Seagoville Texas. The company's principal address was 845 39th St Se # 142 Paris, TX. It appears Custom Trucks of Texas did mostly dually conversions but I found they did regular pick up trucks too.

Below is Chevy Suburbans between 1973 and 1991 (7th Generation) with Custom Trucks of Texas Conversion Packages installed.

Description: 1986 Chevy Suburban Dually 2 Wheel Drive. VIN 1G8EC16L5GF205206. Mileage 87,486 miles. This is a very clean truck ready for your touch, the body is very clean and rust free. All the dually fiberglass is still there as is the gas door. The truck has been converted to carburetor and runs well. The tranny shift fine and no strange noises from the rear end also. This is a HALF TON unit, the inside is need of help for sure, the fabric is getting very brittle. The body is very clean and the paint is not to bad minus the roof. The dealer I purchased the unit from says the miles are true. As you can see the back air unit cover is hanging down, the rubber is good and all the rims are nice. The muffler is in need of attention.. The frame is rock solid, the tuck drives great. Ad was located on Ebay in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Buy in Now price of $3,990 on July 1 2015.
