Some great examples of 1984 Chevrolet Suburbans:

1984 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado

Description: 1984 Chevrolet Suburban. It combines classic SUV styling with 4x4 capability, and a trusty V8 under the hood. Bright red paint and plenty of chrome trim perfectly represents this top-of-the-line Silverado model. This truck is nothing but straight crease lines, and horizontal brightwork, so it would be impossible to hide any imperfections in the body. Beautiful chrome bumpers, complete side trim, and wide step rails make this look far more substantial than its price tag would suggest. Factory gray bucket seats up front show very little wear, and the center console in between looks like no one has ever spent a road trip leaning on them. Carpets, door panels, and the dash pad are all vintage 1984, and are all in great condition. This high-end Suburban came with a long list of options including, cruise control, electric rear window, tilt steering wheel, and the original AM/FM/cassette stereo in the dash. The factory air conditioning has even been converted to R134a for easy servicing. If there still is any doubt that this was a cherished Suburban, it's rare that people have kept the warranty card and owner's manual that comes with this SUV. Original 350 cubic-inch V8 is in such great condition. This numbers-matching motor has such tidy belts, hoses and wires, that it looks factory fresh. Of course the best part is that this is small-block power is known for its reliability and easy parts availability. This rugged beast has a two-speed transfer case to choose the right kind of off road work, and you don't even have to exit the pickup to engage the four-wheel drive thanks to auto locking hubs. Plus, it has the G80 locking differential. This Suburban is also good for the long trips, with power steering, power brakes (discs up front), and a 700R4 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission for the highway. The final piece are the BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires that allow you to get the best traction on or off road. Mileage: 83,328 miles. Found on Hemmings out of Charlotte, North Carolina Feb 27, 2016 for $16,995.

Description: One-owner 3/4 ton (over 8500 GVW) Silverado 2WD with factory 454, automatic trans, 3.73 posi, bucket seats w/console, original (stored since new) full floor mats, towing package with camper mirrors, dual batteries, HD air cleaner, power windows and locks. Purchase includes all vehicle documentation since it was new, including window sticker and sales brochure. Installed into the full instrumentation dash is a factory tach, with the original AM/FM stereo radio replaced with an AM/FM/CB ETR stereo cassette radio. It's also wired with the idiot lights, to go along with the engine gauges. Also added was a set of aftermarket wheel trim rings, an electric trailer brake controller, transmission cooler, cargo mat, and a Bargman trailer plug. The entire exhaust has been replaced with a free-breathing system, consisting of 3? headers, Dr. Gas crossover, and 2 1/2? turbo mufflers. The system makes it quieter, more economical, and more powerful than stock. Also the smog pump was removed, though all the system?s parts are included. Also included but not installed is a factory roof rack and an aftermarket set of running boards. It does NOT have a third seat, rear air, rear heat, black glass, or the trouble-prone power tailgate window, but is otherwise maxed out. It has original factory paint except one quarter. The tailgate window has the rear defrost wires in it, but is otherwise not wired for it. It has always been garage-kept and never seen salt so it is super clean and rust-free. A new second battery is now installed (which is wired to run the trailer and not the truck). Newer tires are also installed. Present mileage is 42,000 miles.
